Chickadee flocks
The black-capped chickadees are swarming the feeder this morning as they “fuel up” from the windy night. There are two flocks - one from trees across the road, and the other that comes up the hill. Do they share the feeder at the same time? Not quite sure of that.
Red Fox Coming Through
Having coffee in the sunroom yesterday morning, I looked out - and watched a RED FOX trotting across the field behind the house. Fast reflexes caught a photo as it continued with its business. Presumably that was finding mice or snowshoe hares. Look at that tail!
